while receiving my undergraduate degree.
Currently I am a production trainee for one of the largest hog producers.

Judging responsibilities have included the San Patricio, Texhoma County Fair,
several jackpot, prospect, and progress shows,
as well as showmanship’s at the county level all over Texas.

I will judge any species of livestock during anytime of the year.

Over the course of the past several years, I have shown cattle in several states including WV, OH, PA, and MD. I have shown cattle for the past 12 years. I have been in 4H and FFA for all my life. I have been a member of the WVU Livestock Judging Team. I have participated in judgings at the North American International Livestock Expo, Keystone International Livestock Expo, Eastern National Livestock Expo. I have also judged and help with our county 4H Livestock Judging team. I plan to continue my education with a Masters in Agriculture, specializing in Ag-law and extension beef programs.

I live on our family farm and help manage our family cow/calf operation. We raise shorthorn, maines and angus show cattle. I have a good eye for cattle and other livestock. I enjoy working with young people and helping to teach them about the farm industry.

While showing I have won several awards for both showmanship and for showing cattle. I was also chosen as the West Virginia State Young Farmer in 2005. I take great pride in the livestock industry and want to see the young people of today continue to succeed in it. I place a great emphasis on sportsmanship, and the effort the exhibitor puts forth to prepare and present their project. I strive to see every exhibitor enter and exit the show ring with confidence and enthusiasm in what they are doing.

Four generations in our family have been involved in our local 4-H program.

Over the course of the last several years I have judged a great deal of shows across the Eastern United States including: Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Michigan. Shows have ranged from county jackpot shows, county fairs, state
breed shows, state beef expo’s and nationally sanctioned shows. I have judged numerous showmanship contests across the country. Additionally, I have officiated livestock judging contests including the Ohio Beef Expo and the Ohio State Fair. My family and I raise, sell and show Maine-Anjou cattle across the United States. I have been very involved working with youth and youth livestock events, including coordinating the 2003 National Junior Maine-Anjou Show. I have been raising cattle my entire life, and exhibited for 9 years. I manage crossbred cow/calf operation in central Pennsylvania. My qualifications include winning meats and livestock judging contests, Champion cattle at fairs and jackpot shows, numerous awards for showmanship and fitting, serving as an official judge for the livestock judging contest at the Clearfield County Fair, and extensive experience in public speaking.
